Bucks were on the road, on the second night of a b2b, playing their third game in four days and yet the Raptors somehow played with less energy.
Starters played very poorly, but at least the Bench played really well tonight, Boucher and TDII in particular.
Aside from that one call on Lowry in the 3rd refs were fine IMO, FT discrepancy can be attributed to Milwaukee being far more aggressive in the paint.
Milwaukee is something else, man.

I honestly don't think the Raptors starters played that poorly, I think the Bucks defense just suffocated them.
A bunch of people are calling out NN for subbing Matt Thomas out of the game after going 3/3 from 3, but you could tell that the Bucks wised up to him pretty quickly and weren't giving him the opportunity to take more shots, suffocating him as well. I think if he had been on the floor much longer he would have become a liability, as he doesn't have the experience that the starters do for dealing with that kind of pressure. As it was, he provided a great pop to the offense in the first half.

Another series would be so great and I know we can hang in there defensively with them.
My biggest worry is on the other end cause teams like Miami and Milwaukee, got the perfect personnel to shut down Pascal in Bam and Giannis. I don't really trust the half court offence when things get stagnant, missing a true superstar like Kawhi was such a killer, he was the emergency option that would get you a high percentage shots in these situations more often than not.
If we have a shot in beating them 4/7 times then Pascal's gotta take that next step against elite opposition, but I don't think that aspect of his game will develop in time for the post season. I'd love to be proven wrong but I think we'll see Pascal really refine his game next year after a playoff run as the guy.

Yup, I agree on most fronts.
Tbh no stars go off against Milwaukee without elite shooting because you just can't score in the paint. You need to score in transition or from 3 since they'll give you a nice shot almost every time. Pascal cannot take on large doubleteams in the paint but he can kick it out to shooters, and that's what he needs to learn. I think he can do it this year, he will just need to watch alot of tape and not force it.

Gasol is a more reliable 3pt shooter, and his playmaking makes the entire Raps offense better
Norm also plays really well against the Bucks for some reason
Bucks definitely had been lucky without injuries this year
Very curious to see how a fully healthy Raps team (which with their luck probably is never going to happen) matches up against Milwaukee
I'd still give the Bucks the edge in 6, but would be a great series again

I'm going to say this as a huge Siakam fan: He's going to get absolutely exposed this post season. He has ZERO inbetween game. He's either spinning to the rim for a layup or launching 3s. He's gotta be one of the most predictable "stars" in the league at this point. He plays well vs weak teams and chokes against any team with a strong lengthy defender. We aren't going anywhere relying on Lowry for all our scoring in the postseason.
And Fred VanVleet. My god. Pass the fucking ball. 30+ footer? Really? Low IQ play I did not expect from Fred. But I am getting real sick of this Steve Nash bullshit he keeps doing, dribbling the ball for 15 seconds a possession, circling under the rim. Reminds me of the Jose days.
When Serge is bad, holy shit is he bad. Haven't seen Stone Hands Serge in a few games but he was out in full force tonight.
猛龙球迷：我这个西卡铁粉必须得说几句：西亚卡姆到了季后赛肯定会暴露短板。他的得分手段除了转到篮下上篮就是三分，没有其他的。现在的他就是联盟最能被预测的“球星”之一。他打弱队得心应手，只要碰上强劲且身高臂长的防守人，他就嗝屁。而洛瑞呢，到了季后赛我们压根就不能指望他得分。
再说范弗里特，天呐，你特么传球啊。30多英尺就开扔？认真的？这种低球商表现我是没想到的。不过我真是受够了他那种纳什式的操作，每个回合先自己运15秒，篮下转一圈，让我想起了卡尔德隆在的那个时期。
伊巴卡状态不好的时候，那尼玛是真的菜。好几场比赛没见到铁手伊巴卡了，不过今晚是真的熄火。
